Surface vein and capillary removal using laser technology is an effective, non-surgical treatment designed to reduce or eliminate visible veins and broken capillaries on the face and body. These tiny, often red or purple vessels appear close to the skin’s surface and can be caused by various factors such as genetics, sun exposure, or skin conditions like rosacea.
How It Works:
The treatment works by using targeted laser energy absorbed by the pigment of the blood in the unwanted veins and capillaries. The Elite+ ND YAG laser generates heat that safely destroys the vessel while leaving surrounding skin unharmed. Over time, the body naturally clears away the treated cells, leaving you with a more even and clear complexion.
The process begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation, where we assess how effective laser treatment will be for your specific needs. We’ll also conduct a patch test to ensure your skin reacts well. If all is clear after 72 hours, we’ll book your treatment.
On the day of your appointment, we’ll clean and disinfect the treatment area with an alcohol wipe to prepare your skin. During the procedure, you’ll feel very quick warm prickles as the laser works, but it’s generally a comfortable experience with no significant discomfort. Depending on the pigment and size of the vein or capillary, it may take up to three sessions to fully clear the area.

They are often red, purple, or blue and are typically cosmetic concerns rather than medical issues.
The veins and capillaries don’t disappear immediately. After treatment, the targeted vessels gradually break down and are absorbed by the body over a period of weeks. Depending on the size and color of the vessels, it may take 2 to 3 sessions for full results
Once treated, the specific veins or capillaries won’t return, but new ones may develop over time due to factors like sun exposure or aging. Maintaining a proper skincare routine, proper nutrition and avoiding excessive sun can help prolong your results.
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild snap or warmth during the procedure. The Elite+ laser has a built-in cooling system that enhances comfort. While discomfort is minimal, any redness or warmth post-treatment typically subsides within a few hours.
